Floyd Churn has served as Pastor of the congregation since 1982. He is a graduate of the University of Richmond, VA, and the Princeton Theological Seminary (M.Div., 1968; D.Min., 1995). Previous ministry was as Pastor of the Overbrook Presbyterian Church, Philadelphia, PA, and Chaplain and Teacher, The Hackley School, Tarrytown, NY. Dr. Churn is married to Janet; they are parents of two grown daughters. He can be reached at FChurnDN@aol.com.
Wendi Werner earned her Master of Divinity at Drew Theological Seminary. Prior to serving at the Dutch Neck Church, Wendi was the Interim Associate Pastor of Christian Education at Basking Ridge Presbyterian Church. Wendi is married to Noel and they share two daughters, almost 5 year old Sophie and baby Emily.
Gail Lee was born in Taipei, Taiwan, and, with her sister, came to the United States while in high school. She attended Rutgers University, where she majored in music, with an emphasis on conducting, and continued her studies with a Master of Music in Orchestral Conducting from Northwestern University. She has been an assistant professor and conductor for the school's orchestra at Alfred University. Gail has received many honors and awards, and has worked with the Seattle Symphony, the Women’s Philharmonic (San Francisco), the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra, the Kaohsuing City Symphony (Taiwan), the North Hungarian Symphony Orchestra, Miskolc (Hungary), the Filharmonie Hradec Králové, the Janacek Filharmonie Ostrava, the Silesian Opera Theatre (Czech Republic), and the Varna State Philharmonie (Bulgaria). Gail came to Dutch Neck Church as Director of Music in 2001.
Elizabeth Bouk attended the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and earned a BM in Music Education and Voice Performance. She has taught K-5 general music, and is extensively trained in the Orff-Schulwerk method. This method uses singing, playing instruments, movement and speech to teach children music. Elizabeth has served as the Children's Choir Director since 2004 and is currently a full-time graduate student at Westminster Choir College. She will graduate in May 2008 with a MM in Voice Performance and Pedagogy.
Arlene Jones has served as Organist of the church for over 25 years. In addition to accompanying the chancel choir, she plays organ and piano selections both in worship and special concerts. She also plays piano in several community instrumental groups that present concerts in the Princeton area.
