How the 2009 Vacation Bible Camp helped the Heifer Project

We are happy to announce the results of the collection for the Heifer Project! 

Donations totaling $642.90 were collected by the Kids' Kingdom Children as our Church School Mission Project, as well as from Vacation Bible Camp participants. 

The Heifer Project is an organization dedicated to eliminating world hunger.  This project helps poor children and families by providing the gift of much-needed livestock as well as training in their care. Donations are used to purchase various animals, which are given to needy families.  Goat and cows will provide undernourished children with daily milk.  Chickens and ducks provide those families with nutritious eggs.

Vacation Bible Camp participants also collected 165 pounds of canned goods which were donated to a local food bank!
