The Stories We Would Rather Not Hear

Come join Adult Education as we explore the stories of scripture we would rather not hear.  Maybe you haven't heard them before, or maybe you have, but you don't understand them.  Either way, we'll be talking about the stories and strategies for reading the difficult and confusing parts of the Bible.

November 15th 
BEAT THE HOLIDAY BLUES

Sunday, November 15th, at 11:00 AM, youth and adults are invited to a class about preventing suicide, including recognizing signs of suicide ideation in yourself and others.

November 29th through December 29th   
Advent Music

Explore the Old Testament origins of the lyrics to Handel's Messiah.  Adult Ed will sponsor a  shortened version of the Kerygma Study Messiah on November 29th which will continue through the Sundays in December.  We will listen to great music as we study the words of the prophets foretelling Christ's coming.  More contemporary advent music will be welcome, too!
